Trace.place uses QR codes easily allow people to check-in to business with just a scan and a phone number or email.
We don’t collect any personal identifying information and only use the contact method to notify people that they may have been exposed.

Privacy is something we take very seriously
Doesn’t matter if it’s a VOIP number, a burner phone, or their grandma’s landline when a customer checks in. Our main priority is communication and we won’t be sending any marketing anyone’s way.
When reaching out, trace.place will simply notify the individual that there was someone who tested positive at at a partnered location they visited along with information on where to get tested.
trace.place will never call out specific businesses or individuals.

Contact tracing works best when we move quickly and we’re making sure to work closely with front-line workers both in the businesses we visit and in the healthcare industry.
QR Code Check-in
Every partnered business receives a unique QR code.
When a customer enters, they’ll quickly scan the code and enter their phone number or email in order to check-in.
A customizable confirmation will be displayed that allows businesses to quickly verify that check-in is complete.
